What a great way to spend a Friday night. The seafood is fresh, the flavored sauce was tasty but not overpowering, and the dining room was clean and fun with karaoke style videos playing. We had the #4 and a 1 lb of dungeoness crab for 3 people and it was more than enough. There is a liquor store in the same plaza so the adults had a crisp beer while the newly minted 18yr old had soda. This was all of our first times to a "boil" place and we really had a blast. If you're curious it's a great place to give it a try!
I LOVE this place, We eat here weekly. Im allergic to shellfish so I get sides and catfish with noodles or rice, With boom sauce and side sauces. My bf get crawfish, shrimp, and crabs. We love everything every time. Very kind staff as well.
Seafood boil is always a vibe. First and foremost: it's is BYOB (but there's a liquor store next door!) so make sure you have your drinks before you order. They do have soft drinks if that's more up your alley. The food is always good. I usually get snow crab and add garlic sauce. It is really great! They also have a good playlists playing. They have areas for larger parties. Everything is clean when I've been. I would definitely recommend this Seafood Boil!
Best reasonably priced boil place. Been going here for years & it's byob. Travel back here from jersey city just to eat here. Also they have the best fries!
The seafood boil is delish.. the staff is friendly.. price is reasonable.. only ordered takeout so never ate in the restaurant
Pros: Staff (Mikki) was very welcome Shrimp and crab were fresh Establish was very clean Decent pricing Cons: No rolls of paper towel like most seafood places No lemon wipes These boom mix sauce is pretty good but could be better (prefer hook & reels special blend) Overall it was good and won't mind revisiting again sometime. I may try their location in Carteret or North Brunswick however this location had the most reviews so decided to give it a shot.
You'll have to run yourself through a water cannon to clean up afterwards but, much like fondue back in the day, a seafood boil is a nice change of pace. Oysters, crabs, clams in a tasty lemon pepper, garlic sauce. I can't say that I'll be returning anytime soon because eating a bag of seafood is really like oinking it at the trough but it's definitely an experience that I can now say that I've had. Four Tide Pods for the adventure.
